Artist's Statement ::
I get most, if not all, of my inspiration from everyday life. The colors I choose normally represent the emotions that arose out of a certain situation, relationship or circumstance. The strokes I use closely resemble my response to the situation (i.e., soft strokes for an understanding and patient response or rough/ragged strokes for a not so well thought out response). I think our emotions and feelings drive most everything we do and I love incorporating them in my artwork. That way when I look at them again, they remind me of and evoke those same emotions.
