Artist's Statement  ::
With my creations I try to show that daily objects or shapes are beautiful in other than obvious ways. Some things which at another glance turn out to look like something completely different.

Biography  ::
As a young girl I already started drawing and coloring. Later I copied and combined photos and created new pictures with a crown pen and ink. I made my first gouaches when I was in my teens. In 1979 I graduated from high school. Although one of my favorite subjects was painting and drawing I didn’t choose to go to the Art academy. Instead I started a working career. That didn’t stop me from spending time on my creative hobbies. The year 2004 I got seriously involved in painting again. Two events occurred which triggered this. Firstly during the redecoration of our home I decided to make some art objects and paintings in different rooms. This coincided with the firm I was working for, moving to another building and they needed some artworks in their offices. As frames for the gouaches I used old painting frames which gave the artwork a special touch. At the moment I am busy producing a large collection of gouaches – which I would describe as abstract/graphical art. My designs aim for perfection and are all purely handmade.
