Please email images of at least 10 of your
artworks to
submit@abstractearth.com.

Artists may also mail quality
photographs (please include title, size, and medium on the back of each)
of their artwork to:

Please note that any materials mailed to Abstract Earth will be returned
only if accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope or package.

Each work will be judged separately by our
curatorial staff during periodic jurying sessions. If your work is
accepted, you will be notified by email soon after this decision has
been made.
2. How much does it cost to
display at Abstract Earth Gallery? [

Abstract Earth takes only a 30% commission
(artist receives 70%) from the total price of the artwork sold.

There are no jurying fees, however if you are
selected as an Abstract Earth Gallery artist, there is a $45 one time
only fee for uploading your artist bio/statement/installations and
images of your art to the site. Future image uploads or changes to your
artist bio/statement/installations require no additional fees.
3. Is there a contract that I need to sign?

Abstract Earth Gallery has composed a simple,
one-page agreement. By agreeing to display your artwork at
Abstract Earth Gallery, you thereby agree to the terms and conditions of
this agreement.

4. How do I get my images on the site?

Have your artwork photographed by either doing
it yourself, employing an outside photographer, or requesting our
photographic services.

Detailed photography instructions are
accessible to our artists by password in the "for
artists only" section.
5. How does the purchase process work?

Abstract Earth Gallery will receive the
payment through our secure online
account and will notify the artist of the sale as soon as the payment is
approved. The artist will then package and send the work to the buyer, who
incurs all shipping and handling charges. The artist is responsible
for adequately preparing and packaging their artwork for shipment.
Once the artwork has been received by the buyer and the 14-day return
period expired, the
transaction is finalized, the artist then receiving their payment within
15 days.
6. How does shipping work?

The artist is responsible for physically packaging
and shipping their artwork to the buyer within 5 days of being notified of
the transaction.
The buyer, however, incurs all shipping and handling costs.
7. How does
the return process work?

The buyer has 14 days from the time he/she
receives the artwork to return it. During that 14-day period, the
financial transaction will remain
in our secure account. After the 14th day, the transaction is
processed and finalized.

If the artwork is returned within the
guaranteed, 14-day period, the buyer will be credited or their check
returned. The buyer is obligated to retain the original packing
materials, with which he/she must securely repack and return the artwork.
Abstract Earth Gallery agrees to assume all return shipping and handling
costs.
8. How
will my artwork be marketed?

- Abstract Earth
Gallery is a juried web site, which helps to insure the integrity of the
Gallery and the artists that we represent. This will, in turn,
attracted serious art buyers as well as accomplished artists.

We promote our Gallery by means of other Internet sites, various written
publications, and major search engines such as: All the Web, Direct Hit,
Alta Vista, AOL, Ask Jeeves, Google, HotBot, iWon, Inktomi, LookSmart,
Lycos, MSN, Netscape, Northern Light, Open Directory, and Yahoo.
- We
strive to most effectively recreate the physical gallery experience by
offering visitors the ability to view 3D-like rotating images, as well
as close-ups that highlight characteristic details and various
textures.

Each artist that we represent is allotted a personal page, featuring
their artwork, biographical information, artist statement, and, if
desired, a personal photograph. Each artist's page is accessible by a
personalized URL: For example, "www.abstractearth.com/(artist's last
name).

Abstract Earth Gallery features “Artists in the Spotlight,” a random
rotation of our artists' work on the front page of the web site. This
gives each artist a chance for immediate exposure to all Abstract Earth
Gallery visitors.

Unique, high-quality images and interactive, "On Your Wall" display
techniques allow online buying decisions to be made with confidence.
9. Will promoting my work at Abstract Earth conflict with my
physical gallery?

Abstract Earth Gallery does not intend to
conflict with any physical gallery with which you are affiliated. The
Gallery does, however, prefer (but does not require) that work shown in
Abstract Earth is not exhibited for sale in any other online art
gallery, save your personal website.
10. To what demographic are Abstract Earth's marketing efforts

We promote to individual collectors, corporate buyers, and interior
designers by advertising with a
variety of news sources, art-related publications, e-zines, web sites,
etc.
11. Is there a cost limit to artwork submitted?
